Our Story

The secret of our success

Alforno De Libano is a new restaurant serving authentic Lebanese/Mediterranean food in Sarasota-Manatee area, Florida. The idea started with owner moved to the area many years ago and was struggling to find the real taste of Lebanese/Mediterranean Cuisine.

The owner decided to open a Lebanese restaurant, so he hired 2 Lebanese chefs with 20 years experience in the business and they choose University Town Center to be the location.

Customers will be able to choose their own protein, including shawarma, Kabab and falafel, along with other items such as hummus, baba ghanouj and tabbouleh. Then patrons will have a variety of options in how the meal is served, including a bowl, submarine sandwich bread or pita bread, which will be cooked onsite in an oven.
